More torque on tap with E85. That surge you feel in the midrange, and a stronger pull up top, is why flex fuel tuning is so popular right now.

Ever felt your car wake up after a simple wheel swap? I once swapped to lighter wheels on a daily driver, and the commute changed overnight. Quicker revs at stoplights, calmer steering, and a smoother ride made the car feel new.

Sick of that lazy pedal feel when you merge or pull away from a stop? You press the gas, then wait while the car thinks about it. That pause makes daily driving feel harder than it should be.

Nothing wakes up a Dodge Challenger or Ford Mustang like a hard hit of boost. The sound, the surge, the way the car digs in and goes, it hooks you fast. That rush sparks a classic debate for modern muscle fans, turbo vs supercharger, street vs strip.

Launching a car for a 1/4 mile run requires precision, timing, and the right technique to achieve the perfect start. First, ensure the car is properly warmed up—this includes the engine, tires, and transmission—so everything is operating at optimal performance. For cars equipped with manual transmissions, mastering the clutch and throttle balance is critical. Start by finding the ideal RPM range where your car delivers the best launch power without spinning the tires excessively. For automatic vehicles with launch control systems, activate the feature and follow the specific instructions for your car model. In both cases, ensure you have proper traction by using the right tires, often slicks or drag radials, and consider reducing tire pressure slightly to increase grip. A pre-launch burnout may help clean and warm the tires for maximum traction. Once staged at the starting line, focus on a smooth release of power—avoid sudden throttle jumps that might cause wheel spin or bogging down the engine. With consistent practice and attention to these details, you'll significantly improve your 1/4 mile times.
